Why do we collect your data?

In order to keep everyone safe, BroadTree Ltd collect and store certain information about you and your child. The information we process includes but isn’t limited to:

  • Names, addresses & contact details of children & parents / guardians / next of kin
  • Physical & mental health information, including allergies & intolerances
  • Images & videos
  • General and specific progress reports

How we use your data

We use your data to effectively and safely provide our services. If you consent on the registration form by ticking the boxes, we may also:

  • Use images showing your child’s likeness on our website, social media channels and printed material such as brochures and flyers
  • Advertise and market to you, by sending you information about our services such as new session dates or locations

Storing your data

Your data is kept securely and treated in confidence. BroadTree are registered with the Information Commissioner’s Office (ICO) and are aware of the responsibilities under General Data Protection Regulations (GDPR).

BroadTree store this information for as long as necessary, but never longer than Data Protection legislation limits.

Who do we share your data with

BroadTree Ltd will never sell your data to anyone. The data we have will only be shared when required by law (eg. child protection issues), in the case of an emergency (eg. supplying medical information to a hospital/ ambulance), or with your permission (eg. photos, videos and stories in social media posts). We will never publicly post images of any child with their real name.

If someone else has asked BroadTree to provide sessions on their behalf (eg. schools, organisations or companies), we may provide progress reports and/or images/videos to them as part of the service. These reports will summarise the content of the session and may include detail on incidents or individual progress as deemed significant by BroadTree or the arranging organisation.

We may use anonymised data about attendees in research and case studies to demonstrate the effectiveness of our support.

Complaints & Accessing your personal data

If you have any complaints with the way you feel BroadTree have handled your personal data, we would love to hear from you in the first instance so we can resolve the issue, or you can complain to the Information Commissioners Officer (ICO).

You have a right to access any of the information that BroadTree hold on you or your child at any time.
